Hello! Yes, you could trim it and propagate the cuttings and create a fuller plant. This time of year is a good time to do it. Place the cuttings in water. Refresh the soil. Place in a controlled environment…sunlight is key. Warmth is key. Use a heating pad if it’s too chilly. I was thinking about doing a new video about this because I have some new suggestions. Would you be interested in watching another video about it?

Thank you ❤️🌿💚 yes, miss piles are great! I have both wood one and moss one. I like them equally. The moss acts as an extension of the bed. The leaves will grow larger on a moss pole. Water the pole regularly and give it good sunlight and your plant will be a giant in no time🌿💚❤️ Let me know how it’s going and how you like the moss pole! 🪴

Yes you can! I have completely beheaded my pothos before and she grew back even more beautiful than before! Of course, it was hard to look at her stumps for a few months haha 🤣 but she turned out lovely. I made a tiktok about it and chopped her and posted the after result🤣🪴❤️ check back in and let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the sub! I love the monstera adansonii …. She’s a wonderful diva but worth all the effort! So easy to propagate and grow. Her leaves get super large when using a moss pole. Since I created that monstera adansonii video I have grown a few 12 foot giant ones that I need to post updates about those as well…in the coming month I hope to post a new video about that! I don’t know why, but my monstera adansonii is the preferred indoor plant my dog whiskey pees on when I’m out of town. He must see me fussing over that plant and out of spite he pees on it when I’m away to show me who is boss. 😳Haha Crazy dog🤣🪴❤️ Check back in here and let me know how your plant experiences are going! What can I say haha I like dirt🤣😂🪴🌿 yes, let your water sit out, that’s great advice…. In certain areas Most plants cannot handle straight water from the tap! Well water is a different story though. 💚thank you for watching and commenting🌿🪴❤️

Hello! I would tweak the recipe for different species of plants…remember it’s also very important to consider these things as well: lighting, temperature, humidity. These determine how long your soil will stay moist and what soil amendments are best for your plants, given the environment your plants live in. Thank you for watching. Hi Meredith! I’m creating a new video and providing updated info about my Thai collection. I have learned so much more about these plants After growing several. Love them 🪴💚❤️ thank up for your patience waiting for my very late response …been moving and life has been crazy 🤪 💚 PS: I water mine once a week and make sure the water goes through the pot and never sits. I also make sure it’s in a warm window with great sunlight! They thrive when the roots mostly dry out and do not stay moist in the soil for too long. Most soil for too long =root rot

Hello! Either one is great… it depends on what you want to do… Moss poles are like an extension of the pot. A wooden pole is like a tree the plant can attach to and grow up… what look are you going for? Moss poles make it easier to grow large leaves faster. Wooden poles provide more support to drape /attach/tie on several vines. I have both and love them the same. With a moss pole, you need to water the pole regularly (weekly) to get the desired growth result. Thank you for watching and commenting …and thank you for your patience awaiting my response. Hi! Sorry for the late response… Life has been crazy and been moving🌿🪴 The great thing about rubber trees is when you cut them, they bush out with several shoots on their original trunk. It’s fascinating. All I did was chop it and it bushed out. When I originally purchased the plant it had a few stems (trunks). And it took several years to grow that big. I have made several new trees using that mother tree…. The propagations seem to grow fast. Best time to propagate and grow them is when the weather gets warm outside and then put in several pots. By end of summer it’ll be fully rooted. Thank you for watching and commenting. Update me on your plant experience with your rubber tree…what happened?

Hello! Lowes has great plants 🪴 Dogtail cactus are so easy to propagate… they often drop foliage so check the floor 😂 and stick it in soil and boom you have yourself another plant! Thank you for watching and commenting 💚🪴🌿

Hi Sharon🪴❤️ they are different cultivars of plants. Black Cardinal has rounder, larger leaves & darker foliage than Rojo Congo….rojo congo has more red in it and is considered to be a red cultivar. Hi there. Yes, Sydney the plant guy does have delightful and gorgeous collection of huge leafed plants that he grows on moss poles. Thank you for sharing this info on my channel. I also follow Sydney and love watching his content. The plant showcased in myvideo features a huge monstera adansonii on wooden stake, not a moss pole. The moss pole serves as an extension of the pot. For that reason, the leaves grow much larger when they grow up on moss poles…on wooden stakes, only mature vines/plants produce giant extra large leaves when the plant attaches to the wooden pole. It takes much longer for large leaves to grow on a wooden stake unless it’s grown in a greenhouse in perfect growing conditions so that the bones can attach to the wooden pole. Moss poles are definitely better for faster growth/larger leaves but wooden poles hold more volume and weight. Depends on what you’re going for😊🪴❤️ thank you for watching and commenting! Hello! YES you can change out the stake. Gently take the plant off of the current stake … replace soil , change pots…make sure there are tons of drainage holes. Be sure that you have your supplies ready to go because once you start unwinding the plant, it gets chaotic 😂. You’ll need fasteners (I use floral wire and get it at Lowe’s in the garden center. It’s on a round spool) …when you start fastening your plant to the pole, go straight up…then loop down, then loop back up….You’re layering the vines and some will over lap 🌿🪴 Sorry for the late response… been moving and offline 🌿❤️🪴 check back in and let me know if you want a tutorial or something more detailed….
